Suncoast Stars Community exists to provide a work, enrichment, and educational community where adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs are empowered to live full, productive, and satisfying lives in a Christ-centered and nurturing environment.

We believe every person, regardless of ability, is created by God with purpose and dignity and deserves the opportunity to develop their gifts and talents and enjoy full lives. In fact, we call the folks we serve STARS which stands for Specially Talented Adults Raising Standards.

Our Work & Enrichment Program offers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a variety of enrichment classes including dance, music, fitness and nutrition, book club, bible study, crafts, and more. We are committed to engaging our STARS cognitively, physically, socially, and spiritually – the whole person. As we did with Wellspring Community, we are developing specially modified business enterprises where we slow down the pace, modify tasks, and provide staff, and volunteer support to ensure that our STARS can be successful. We celebrate every small accomplishment – and we have a lot of FUN – because fun is a great motivator.
