Down Syndrome Sports of America

Down Syndrome Sports of America (DSAA) is a National Sports and non-profit (501©(3) Organization dedicated to transforming the lives of athletes with Down Syndrome who want to develop and compete in sports.  “…inspiring athletes with Down syndrome…”

DDSA works closely with Down syndrome athletes and their support group to help them grow not only as an athlete, but as a person.  Sports play a critical role in the development of athletes helping them learn teamwork, dedication, fair play, and good sportsmanship.  While developing these skills for the sports arena, we also help to translate these skills into daily aspects of athletes’ lives.
