BUDS’ 21st Annual Buddy Walk

On Saturday, October 28th more than 500 people came out to Manasota BUDS’ 21st Annual Buddy Walk. Hosted at Bayside Community church, the event was a huge success! Buddy Walk attendees enjoyed Buddy Dogs from Monarch Deli, played carnival games, participated in a 50/50 Raffle, a Silent Auction, enjoyed some amazing Snow Cones, and interacted with superheroes and princesses. The event was emceed by the ever-so talented Motown Ross Brown.

The event was so well attended that it took 5-minutes from our first person to cross the START line to the last! The Top Team Award was won by Team Cowboy Mason. The Buddy Walk’s top individual fundraiser was Mr. David Rooks of Bradenton, FL. The 2023 King and Queen were Mr. Mason Kramer and Ms. Emily D’Agostino!

Next year’s Buddy Walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024. The event will once again take place at Bayside Community Church in Lakewood Ranch, and BUDS is thrilled to announce that Motown Ross Brown will be back for his third consecutive year. Thanks to all of our BUDS, friends, and families for a wonderful event!
